Start with five posts, export JSON or CSV, then monitor new posts and text edits. Public widget mode needs no Telegram login. No credentials go into your input.
Working JSON inputs, not another setup form. You choose when to run and what to spend in Apify.

maxChargeUsd caps custom events, not startup. Set a platform run budget too. Copying or downloading an input never starts a paid run.
Widget mode reads public pages without login. Optional MTProto mode uses the publisher's secret account pool for deeper public-channel fields.
Text, links, hashtags, views, reactions, photos, sender — one versioned schema with a coverage report for the run.
New posts between runs, date windows, history paging — baselines between runs, change events in the dataset.
Public channels only, polite request budget, private channels reported — never bypassed.
Know what is returned, what monitoring means and where the limits are.
Not for widget mode. Optional MTProto mode uses the publisher's account pool. Never paste sessions or API credentials into an input.
With monitorOutput set to changes, the first run returns its baseline window. Later runs return new and text-edited messages, with channel context. This is bounded batch monitoring, not a continuous stream or deletion detector.
No. The platform spending limit is a ceiling. Custom-event-free monitor runs still have the $0.00005 startup event. A changed channel summary costs $0.001, plus $0.00030 for each newly observed billable message. The current Apify pricing tab is authoritative.
No. The Actor targets public channels, not private chats or standalone group history. Media URLs may expire; files are not downloaded. Comments and optional fields depend on public access and source content.
This page collects nothing: no analytics, no cookies, no accounts. The actor itself reads public channel and linked public-discussion data.
